 “No electricity, no vote,” South Africans threaten to shun ruling party ANC Residents in Katlehong, a township outside Johannesburg, have resolved to boycott South Africa's upcoming local elections on November 4 due to long-standing failures by authorities to provide basic services like electricity. For over 20 years, around 180 households in the community have relied on illegal electrical connections pulled from neighboring areas to power their homes. Angry over the lack of formal grid infrastructure, residents are directing their frustration at the ruling African National Congress (ANC). A 46-year-old Nigerian virgin recently visited a radio station to publicly announce her search for a husband, saying she feels time is running out.

The woman stated that she has never had an intimate relationship.


According to a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), the woman revealed in a viral video that she has never had an intimate relationship.


She explained that for the past three years, people have increasingly made her feel old, with men dismissing her as “this one is old” and children calling her “grandma.”


In an effort to find a partner, she approached the radio station for assistance.


“Time is going, I can’t continue like this. From three years ago, men see me as an old woman they’ll say ‘this one is old.’ If a child sees me, I’m called grandma. That’s why I came here to find help. I just want a person who is reasonable and responsible. I’m tired. People are beginning to see me as an irresponsible fellow in my community,” she said.
