 A Tennessee woman had to have her leg amputated after being attacked by her own dog. This terrifying incident occurred in the Murfreesboro, Tennessee home of 42-year-old Amanda Mears.  On the evening of December 10th, Amanda was preparing to take her dog, a Pit Bull/ American Staffordshire mix, named "Dennis" out for a walk.  As the two were making their way to the door, Amanda's other dog Ralphie, an American Bully, escaped from the room she was keeping him in.  In the blink of an eye, a vicious dog fight erupted. Amanda, who fosters dogs that have been abandoned, is no stranger to dog fights and jumped between the battling dogs in an attempt to stop the fight.  However, this turned out to not be your typical situation.  TOKE MAKINWA NAMES HER NEWBORN YAKIRA ELIANA 


Toke Makinwa has welcomed her new baby to the delight of Nigerians everywhere. She gushed over the newborn on social media and revealed her name: Yakira Eliana.


While many Nigerians think the baby's names are unusual because they are not local Yoruba names, the celebrity disclosed their meanings in her post.


"Meet my miracle," she wrote. "Yakira Eliana — Precious, Beloved — of great worth, my God has answered." 


She announced the baby's other names as: Olakitan, Iyanuoluwa, Ikeoluwa, and Adunola.


"I'm a Mommy...this is the happiest I’ve ever been," Makinwa wrote. "I have seen the goodness of God in my life time, I have seen God move and I no longer just hear of it, I see it. It ended in praise, My miracle is here.".

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
