 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Trump names Airbnb co-founder as first head of government design

President Trump this week appointed Airbnb co-founder Joe Gebbia as the U.S.’s first chief design officer, part of an initiative to modernize the federal government’s design standards and make public services “usable and beautiful.”

Gebbia, who joined the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) earlier this year and serves on Tesla’s board, said his goal is to create government services that are “as satisfying to use as the Apple Store: beautifully designed, great user experience, run on modern software.” He will lead the newly established National Design Studio, tasked with improving digital services across federal agencies. The studio, created by Trump’s Thursday executive order, will advise agencies on standardizing design, reducing duplication, and enhancing public trust. Gebbia will report to White House chief of staff Susie Wiles and help recruit creative talent, coordinate with agencies, and develop innovative solutions. Agencies are expected to implement the “America by Design” initiative, with initial results due by July 4, 2026, and the studio is set to close in three years. Gebbia thanked the administration for supporting the initiative, pledging to make the U.S. “the most beautiful, and usable, country in the digital world.”
