 Prince William and Kate Middleton bring George, Charlotte and Louis to Commonwealth Games for first Scotland public outing Prince William and Kate Middleton brought their three children to the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, marking the siblings’ first official public appearance in Scotland. The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 44, attended the sporting event on Saturday, Aug. 1, during their summer break with Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8. While in Scotland, where William and Kate are known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, the family spent time with Team Wales athletes and their families. The couple also visited SportsAid, an organisation that supports young athletes. Kate has served as patron of the organisation since 2013. The Commonwealth Games, held every four years, brings together athletes from across the Commonwealth of Nations.  US MOVES TWO NUCLEAR SUBMARINES NEARER RUSSIA


Following remarks by former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev that his country can hold its own against the United States on any front, Donald Trump ordered two nuclear submarines nearer Russia.


"I have ordered two Nuclear Submarines to be positioned in the appropriate regions, just in case these foolish and inflammatory statements are more than just that," Trump stated.


After Trump said that Russia and Ukraine have 10 days to agree to a ceasefire, Medvedev made it clear that it is not in Trump's place to dictate when both countries can end the war. 


By dispatching the submarines, Trump said Medvedev's statements are combustible "and can often lead to unintended consequences, I hope this will not be one of those instances."
