  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous.  Veteran Juju Musician Ahuja Bello Dies at 83

Veteran 1970s Juju star Ahuja Bello has died at 83, a day after celebrating his birthday. The news was confirmed by his daughter and his band, Ahuja Bello and His Golden Eagles Band.


Born Ismaila Dele Bello in 1942, he rose to fame in the 1970s and 1980s with hit albums like Awa ti Danfo and Ariya ti de, and was known for energetic performances and collaborations with international artists, including Bob Marley.
