 LASG REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO END TUBERCULOSIS IN COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE The Lagos State Government on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to completely eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) at the grassroots level across the metropolis.  The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke made this known during a courtesy visit by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria team to her Ikoyi office, emphasising the present administration's commitment to continually prioritise health security across the state. She said the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, is a Tuberculosis (TB) champion with the mandate of ending TB now and the continuous expansion of TB scale-up diagnostic centres.  According to her, “The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu is a TB champion. A MISSISSIPPI WALMART EMPLOYEE TOOK A MAN'S LIFE DURING AN IN STORE ALTERCATION. ( PHOTO).

 A Mississippi Walmart employee took a man's life during an in store altercation. 


The Horn Lake Police Department were called to the Walmart on Goodman Road at 10:30 pm. on Sunday, September 7th.


Upon their arrival, officers found 27-year-old Ledarius Clayton suffering from a stab wound. Clayton was rushed to Baptist DeSoto hospital, where he passed away from his injuries. 


The unidentified Walmart employee was briefly detained while officers investigated the incident but was later released with authorities announcing no charges would be filed at this point.


This decision came after authorities reviewed security footage showing Clayton entering the store and approaching the employee. Clayton then began acting aggressively before launching into an attack on the employee. At this point the employee withdrew his weapon and stabbed Clayton one time before walking away.
