 KADIRS Warns Residents Against Fake Revenue Collectors, Introduces E-Demand Notice As Sole Payment Authorization The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) has cautioned taxpayers and residents of Kaduna State against making revenue payments without first obtaining an official E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice), warning that fraudsters may exploit outdated payment processes to defraud the public. In a public announcement issued on Thursday, KADIRS said the move forms part of its ongoing efforts to automate revenue collection and enhance transparency across the state.  The agency disclosed that manual demand notices previously used for Local Government revenue collection have been phased out and are no longer recognized. According to KADIRS, the E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice) has officially replaced the former Local Government Harmonized Demand Notice and is now the only valid document for on-the-spot taxpayer assessment through the state's Central Billing System. Abia Airport Land owner cries out to Governor Otti over non payment of land fee.


Indigenes of Ngwa who own the lands that have been mapped out for the construction of Abia State Airport,  have lamented over the unfair treatment and non payment of their money by the Abia State Government.


Their spokesperson mentioned that the governor announced on the 31st of May 2025 that he has paid 100 percent for the lands that were acquired for the construction of the Airport, but according to him, up till today none of them have received a dime for the land.


They called on Governor Alex Otti to please pay them their money because they are hungry and the land was their only means of livelihood. They also asked him to probe his finance department if perhaps he has released the money and the finance department have refused to pay them.
