 NAFDAC Warns Of Fake Toothpaste Circulating In Kaduna, Orders Nationwide Crackdown The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has alerted Nigerians about the circulation of suspected counterfeit toothpaste in Kaduna State, raising concerns over consumer safety and public health. According to the agency, the fake products are designed to imitate popular Colgate toothpaste, potentially deceiving buyers into believing they are genuine. The discovery followed a complaint received by NAFDAC’s Post-Marketing Surveillance team, which prompted an investigation. During inspections, officials found two suspected fake products labeled “Coglaet ActivGel 100g” and “Coglaet Herbal 100g” being sold at a local shop.  The retailer reportedly could not provide proof of purchase, claiming the items were supplied by a door-to-door distributor.  Afeez Owo reacts as Yemi Solade apologizes for slapping him on movie set


Popular Nollywood producer, Afeez Owo, has finally reacted to a public apology by actor Yemi Solade.

DAILY POST reports that Solade had during an interview tendered a public apology to Afeez Owo for slapping him on a movie set.

Expressing regrets, Solade explained that he has also discussed the matter with some of their colleagues.

Reacting during a recent appearance on the African A-List podcast, Afeez accepted the apology, describing Solade as his senior brother.

“After seeing his apology, I let go of the incident. Even if he did not apologize, he is not at fault because it is like when an elder brother beat his younger brother. Even if the older one is at fault, the younger brother will be ask to apologize to the senior.

“I was the production manager then and he was an actor. As a production manager im to cater for the actors and crew members well-being. When we were leaving the Ibadan location to another location at a Fulani resettlements area, I informed everybody to tell me their needs so that I can buy them along but it seems Uncle Solade didn’t understand me too well and slapped me when he was hungry.”
