 Texas man arrested with 75 pounds of marijuana in luggage while flying to London, police say A Texas man was arrested at Miami International Airport after authorities found 75 pounds of marijuana in his luggage before he could board a flight to London. Harrison O’Neill Tiernan, 23, from Austin, was charged with cannabis trafficking. He was traveling to Heathrow Airport and had checked two suitcases for his British Airways flight. Inspectors discovered 65 vacuum-sealed packages containing a green, leafy substance later confirmed to be marijuana. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers stopped Tiernan while he attempted to board the flight, and he acknowledged that the bags were his. Authorities noted the inspections were part of broader efforts at the airport due to high outbound narcotics activity. In total, Tiernan was carrying 34.01 kilograms, or 74.98 pounds, of marijuana.  Afeez Owo reacts as Yemi Solade apologizes for slapping him on movie set


Popular Nollywood producer, Afeez Owo, has finally reacted to a public apology by actor Yemi Solade.

DAILY POST reports that Solade had during an interview tendered a public apology to Afeez Owo for slapping him on a movie set.

Expressing regrets, Solade explained that he has also discussed the matter with some of their colleagues.

Reacting during a recent appearance on the African A-List podcast, Afeez accepted the apology, describing Solade as his senior brother.

“After seeing his apology, I let go of the incident. Even if he did not apologize, he is not at fault because it is like when an elder brother beat his younger brother. Even if the older one is at fault, the younger brother will be ask to apologize to the senior.

“I was the production manager then and he was an actor. As a production manager im to cater for the actors and crew members well-being. When we were leaving the Ibadan location to another location at a Fulani resettlements area, I informed everybody to tell me their needs so that I can buy them along but it seems Uncle Solade didn’t understand me too well and slapped me when he was hungry.”
