 No good deed goes unpunished.  A Florida sea tow captain saved a man from a burning ship only to be shoved overboard and have his boat stolen. This shocking incident occurred near Marco Island on March 6th. On that date, a call went out regarding a burning boat. The captain of a sea tow boat heard the distress call and rushed to provide aid. He was able to quickly locate the burning boat and  discovered 40-year-old, Ryan Deiter, and his dog onboard the burning ship. Wasting no time, the captain of the sea tow boat was able to maneuver alongside the distressed boat and begin efforts to extricate Deiter and his dog from the doomed vessel.  Eventually, the sea tow captain was able to pull both Deiter and his dog onboard the tow boat. However, once Deiter was pulled to safety, he repaid a stranger's kindness with treachery.  Deiter shoved the captain from his own boat and fled the scene in the stolen boat, leaving the man who had just risked his own vessel and life...

AKON’S WIFE, TOMEKA THIAM FILES FOR DIVORCE AFTER ALMOST 30 YEARS OF MARRIAGE.(PHOTO).

 Akon’s wife, Tomeka Thiam files for divorce after almost 30 years of marriage.


Tomeka Thiam filed for divorce from Akon on Sept. 11, 2025, citing irreconcilable differences after nearly 29 years of marriage. Court docs show she seeks joint legal custody, primary physical custody of their 17-year-old daughter, and spousal support. Akon has yet to comment on the matter.

ACCORDING TO ANOTHER SOURCE:

After almost three decades together, Akon’s wife, Tomeka Thiam, has decided to call it quits.

 

According to court filings, Tomeka says she married the singer back in September 1996 but is now pulling the plug on their marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.


According TMZ, the couple share a 17-year-old child, and Tomeka is asking the court for joint legal custody while requesting physical custody. She is also seeking spousal support but at the same time asking the court to block Akon from receiving any spousal support himself.


Over the years, Akon has remained vague about how many “wives” he’s had, but Tomeka is officially making her position clear with this filing.

 

So far, Akon has not publicly reacted to the divorce news.
