NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did.  Anna Wintour appoints Chloe Malle as Vogue’s new head of editorial content

Anna Wintour, Vogue’s longtime editor-in-chief, has appointed Chloe Malle as the magazine’s new U.S. head of editorial content. Malle, currently the editor of Vogue.com and co-host of the magazine’s podcast, "The Run-Through," has worked across various roles at Vogue over the past 14 years.

Wintour announced the promotion on Vogue.com on Tuesday, praising Malle as a “voracious, engaged journalist” whose creative vision is matched by her warmth and collaborative spirit. Wintour described Malle as someone capable of balancing Vogue’s historic legacy with its evolving future, calling her desk “a place of guidance and contagious joy” and expressing excitement to continue working alongside her.

Malle, 39, is the daughter of actress Candice Bergen, known for her role on "Murphy Brown" and as Carrie Bradshaw’s Vogue editor on "Sex and the City." In June, Wintour announced a search for a new head of editorial content while confirming she would continue as chief content officer for Condé Nast and global editorial director at Vogue, overseeing the company’s other major brands, including Wired, Vanity Fair, GQ, and Bon Appétit.

Malle will continue to report directly to Wintour and emphasized that she has no intention of replacing the legendary editor. However, she signaled a willingness to innovate at Vogue, including exploring a less frequent print schedule and producing issues centered on specific themes, while maintaining the magazine’s reputation as a leading force in fashion journalism.
