 “Nigerians should take it easy on me, I’m really sorry” — Comedian Real Warri Pikin apologises after singer Timaya lifted her on stage Comedian Real Warri Pikin has apologised to Nigerians after a viral moment with singer Timaya at the 2026 AFRIMMA Awards in Dallas sparked reactions online. Real Warri Pikin, who was honoured as Best Stand-Up Comedian at the awards, explained that Timaya had asked for a woman to join him on stage during his performance. She said she initially declined because she did not want to jump, but eventually went on stage.  According to her, Timaya assured her that she would be fine, but the moment became awkward when he lifted her during the performance. She said the incident was entertaining to those present at the event, but admitted that the reaction online was different, with some people making comments suggesting she had crossed boundaries. “Make una take am easy, I beg.  AUTO CRASH AT WULKO, INJURED SEVERAL IN NASARAWA


5th September, 2025   


An auto crash occurred Friday evening at Wulko, near Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, involving a Sharon bus loaded with passengers.


Eyewitnesses said the accident was triggered by a tire burst, causing the vehicle to lose control. No deaths have been reported, but several passengers sustained varying degrees of injuries.


Rescue efforts by authorities and passersby are underway to move the victims to nearby hospitals for treatment.
