 STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE President Tinubu commends Nigeria's Armed Forces for protecting democracy in Benin Republic President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commended the gallantry of Nigeria's military on Sunday for responding swiftly to the request by the Government of Benin Republic to save its 35-year-old democracy from coup plotters who struck at dawn today. Acting on two separate requests from the Government of Benin, President Tinubu first ordered Nigerian Air Force fighter jets to enter the country and take over the airspace to help dislodge the coup plotters from the National TV and a military camp where they had regrouped.   The Republic of Benin, through its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a Note Verbal, requested immediate Nigerian air support "in view of the urgency and seriousness of the situation and to safeguard the constitutional order, protect national institutions and ensure the security of the population."  BENUE: APC CHIEFTAIN HON.EJEH UDEH ASSASSINATED IN OTUKPO

The Idoma nation is in mourning following the assassination of Hon. Ejeh Udeh, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who was gunned down in the early hours of Monday.


The tragic incident occurred shortly after midnight at his residence in Ugboju, Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State. Eyewitnesses reported that armed men, arriving on motorcycles, laid an ambush and shot him at close range as he entered his compound. His remains have since been taken to the Otukpo morgue.


Hon. Udeh, said to be the brother of a former local government chairman, was a respected political figure and a familiar face in the Idoma political landscape.


His untimely death has thrown Ugboju and the wider Otukpo community into shock and grief, with residents describing the assassination as a devastating blow to the people.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
