 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Court to deliver judgment in Malema firearm case today


The East London Magistrate’s Court is expected to deliver judgment today in the case against EFF leader Julius Malema and his former bodyguard, Adriaan Snyman.


The two face charges of unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, discharging a firearm in a built-up area, and reckless endangerment. The charges stem from the EFF’s fifth-anniversary celebrations at Sisa Dukashe Stadium in Mdantsane on 28 July 2018.


Both Malema and Snyman have pleaded not guilty, claiming that the object discharged was a toy gun and not capable of firing live rounds. The state, however, maintains it was a real firearm, relying on evidence from 19 witnesses, including ballistics experts.


The case, which began in 2019, has experienced several delays, including one last year when the presiding magistrate fell ill.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
