 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Culpable homicide claims life of 5-year-old in Namakgale


A five-year-old girl from Nyakelane village in Phalaborwa was killed after being knocked down by a car in Namakgale, Limpopo, on Sunday afternoon.


Police said the child was trying to cross Tshelang Gape Road near Makhushane Dairy when she was hit by a grey Hyundai Getz around 4.30pm. Paramedics declared her dead at the scene.


The driver was not at the scene when police arrived but later reported the incident at the Namakgale police station.


A case of culpable homicide has since been opened, and investigations are under way.
