 Texas man arrested with 75 pounds of marijuana in luggage while flying to London, police say A Texas man was arrested at Miami International Airport after authorities found 75 pounds of marijuana in his luggage before he could board a flight to London. Harrison O’Neill Tiernan, 23, from Austin, was charged with cannabis trafficking. He was traveling to Heathrow Airport and had checked two suitcases for his British Airways flight. Inspectors discovered 65 vacuum-sealed packages containing a green, leafy substance later confirmed to be marijuana. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers stopped Tiernan while he attempted to board the flight, and he acknowledged that the bags were his. Authorities noted the inspections were part of broader efforts at the airport due to high outbound narcotics activity. In total, Tiernan was carrying 34.01 kilograms, or 74.98 pounds, of marijuana.  Dangote Group trailer reportedly crushes entire family in Enugu


A trailer reportedly belonging to Dangote Group on Wednesday crushed an entire family at Four Corner Junction in Enugu State.


Eyewitnesses said the victims, who were inside a vehicle, did not survive the accident.


A video circulating online shows the car completely flattened by the truck.


The development comes days after Ruth, sister of former Big Brother Naija winner, Phyna, died from injuries sustained in an accident involving a Dangote Group truck.


ollowing Ruth’s death, the management of Dangote Group said arrangements were underway to fly her abroad for treatment before she passed on.


Activist, VeryDarkMan, has been campaigning against the reckless attitude of Dangote Group drivers on Nigerian highways.


He also claimed that the driver involved in Ruth’s accident had no valid licence.


As of the time of filing this report on Wednesday, neither the police nor Dangote Group had issued an official statement on the Enugu crash.
