South Korean police seek arrest warrant for Hybe chairman Bang Si-Hyuk over alleged $100 million investor fraud scheme    South Korean police are seeking an arrest warrant for Bang Si-Hyuk, the billionaire music executive behind K-pop powerhouse Hybe and BTS, as part of an expanding investigation into allegations that he improperly benefited from an investor scheme involving more than $100 million. Authorities said they have asked prosecutors to pursue a court warrant for Bang’s arrest as they continue probing claims that he misled investors in 2019. Investigators allege he told investors that Hybe had no plans for an initial public offering, leading them to sell shares to a private equity fund. The company later went public, and police suspect a separate arrangement may have resulted in Bang receiving a substantial payout tied to post-IPO stock profits. Bang’s legal team has not directly addressed the specific allegations but said he has cooperated with investigators an...

FAYETTE COUNTY, IOWA- A HEROIC YOUNG BOY DELIVERED A NOTE WITH A DESPERATE CRY FOR HELP TO HIS SCHOOL BUS DRIVER, POTENTIALLY SAVING HIS MOTHER'S LIFE. THE NOTE READ, "CALL 911". (PHOTO)

Fayette County, Iowa- A heroic young boy delivered a note with a desperate cry for help to his school bus driver, potentially saving his mother's life. The note read, "Call 911".

This volatile and dangerous situation came to light on the morning of September 24th when a young boy stepped onto his school bus and handed the driver a small slip of paper.

The bus driver looked at the paper, and his ordinary morning was turned on its head. "Call 911" was scrawled onto the paper; he quickly realized someone was in trouble, and this young boy was the critical link.

The driver immediately made the call to 911, and one person very close to the case reached and told us, "had it not been for the boy and his bus driver, you'd be writing a much more tragic story." In their words, "this story needs out there. If they let him go, he will end her life."

Upon receiving the information from the bus driver, deputies with the Fayette County Sheriff's Department descended on a rural Westgate residence.

When they arrived on the scene, deputies made contact with the boy's mother who was being held against her will. She informed deputies that she had been repeatedly assaulted by 29-year-old Glenroy Miller (pictured below) throughout the previous night. He had even threatened to take her life and placed a knife to her throat and wrists. Miller had taken the victim's phone, preventing her from calling for help, and held her against her will throughout the harrowing events of the previous night. At one point, he decided to take her to the hospital for the injuries  he had caused her.  However, on the way to the hospital, he realized he would go to jail, so he turned around, taking the victim back to her home; where he continued to attack her.

After interviewing the victim, deputies arrested Glenroy Miller. He is being charged with domestic abuse with intent to inflict serious injury, willful injury causing serious injury, 2nd degree kidnapping with a dangerous weapon and obstruction of an emergency communication device.

Glenroy Miller is being held at the Fayette County Jail as he awaits his court date. He is also being held on an ICE detainer as he is a native of the Bahamas.

The victim ultimately sustained three broken ribs and a collapsed lung; along with multiple bruises and contusions over most of her body.

Local officials in the community are praising the young man for his heroic, smart and brave move. They are also very thankful that the bus driver acted so quickly alongside law enforcement.
