 Trump administration halts border wall well drilling in New Mexico after ranchers raise water concerns  The Trump administration has ordered contractors building a border wall in New Mexico to stop drilling new wells after ranchers raised concerns that groundwater pumping for construction could worsen drought conditions and threaten their livestock. The move comes as crews work to expand border barriers across four states as part of President Donald Trump’s immigration agenda. The project has received billions in federal funding and has faced criticism from residents, environmental groups and local officials over various impacts. U.S. Customs and Border Protection, which oversees construction, has said water is needed for concrete production, road construction and controlling dust.  FEDERAL GOVERNMENT EMPOWERS 10,000 YOUTHS IN KANO; 350 BIKE FOR DISPATCH RIDERS


The Federal Government  youth empowerment drive in Kano State peaked with the distribution of more than 350 motorcycles to dispatch riders, while ten thousand young people received food support.


The initiative, under the fourth phase,  championed by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi, is part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda designed to support small businesses and todeliver on campaign promises.
