 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment.  Gunmen Assassinate Catholic Priest In Enugu


Gunmen Have Killed A Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Mathew Eya, In Eha-Ndiagu Community, Eha-Alumonah, Nsukka Local Government Area Of Enugu State.


Fr. Eya, Parish Priest Of St. Charles Catholic Church, Was Shot Dead On Friday Evening While Returning From Enugu.


Sources Reported That The Attackers, Riding On A Motorcycle, Intercepted His Vehicle Near An Ongoing Type C Hospital Project. They Allegedly Fired At The Tyres, Forcing The Car To Stop, Before Shooting Multiple Times At Close Range.


While Some Accounts Linked The Incident To Possible Kidnapping, Others Suggested It Was More Likely An Assassination, As The Priest Was Alone In The Vehicle And No Abduction Occurred.


The Late Cleric Was A Native Of Ugbaike In Enugu Ezike, Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area.


As Of Press Time, Both The Police And The Catholic Diocese Of Nsukka Had Not Issued An Official Statement On The Killing.
