 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity.  HORROR AT NATIONAL ASSEMBLY: DECOMPOSED BODY FOUND IN A CAR

Shock and panic gripped the National Assembly complex in Abuja on Sunday after the rotting body of a 55-year-old man was discovered inside a car parked near the annex gate.


The deceased, identified as Gaddafi Iwar, a Tiv construction worker, was found slumped in a red Peugeot 406 with registration number BWR-577 BF around 9:00 a.m., his body already badly decomposed.


Security operatives and health workers rushed to the scene, moving the corpse first to the National Assembly Clinic and then to Asokoro General Hospital. But doctors reportedly refused to admit the remains due to the advanced state of decay.


In a dramatic turn, Tiv community leaders and youths ferried the body to Gbawu Village, on the AMAC–Kuje border, where he was hurriedly buried to prevent a health crisis.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
