 Setting the Records Straight on  Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's  Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate,  Benue State.   Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28,  2026.  They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court.  Shortly after their arrest,  specifically on May 4,  2026,  three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's  Holding Facility and were permitted.   They cashed in on the opportunity,  broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention.  Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail.  Howard Stern delays SiriusXM return amid growing speculation over his future

Howard Stern has postponed his return to his SiriusXM show, which was originally scheduled for Tuesday, amid ongoing speculation about the future of the program. The legendary radio host has been off the air since late July for his annual summer break, and the summer months have seen heightened attention on his contract negotiations and possible exit.

In August, British tabloid The Sun reported that Stern’s show might end due to difficulties reaching a new contract with SiriusXM. The Stern Show’s X account amplified the rumors with a video teasing multiple possibilities: “Fired? Retiring? Canceled? Bye-Bye Booey? Howard Stern will speak.” The announcement was initially slated for Sept. 2, but on Tuesday morning, the show’s X account updated fans, saying Stern will now reveal his plans on Sept. 8.
