Crackdown on Lateness: Obodogha Leads Spot Check at Environment Ministry The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Mr. Tochukwu Obodogha, has launched a surprise inspection of staff attendance, enforcing Governor Chukwuma Soludo's zero-tolerance policy on lateness. Obodogha warned that latecomers will face a disciplinary committee, emphasizing that the glory of civil service must be restored.  He stressed that every worker must be at their duty post by 8am prompt. Addressing staff at Anambra State Erosion, Watershed and Climate Change Agency (ANSEWCCA), he said the era of non-chalancy is over. "Every staff member must be at the table and on time." A surveillance team will monitor workers' attendance, reporting to Obodogha. He urged staff to key into Governor Soludo's vision, noting the governor prioritizes workers' welfare. The crackdown aims to boost productivity and make Anambra State great. One more photo below.

Howard Stern delays SiriusXM return amid growing speculation over his future

Howard Stern has postponed his return to his SiriusXM show, which was originally scheduled for Tuesday, amid ongoing speculation about the future of the program. The legendary radio host has been off the air since late July for his annual summer break, and the summer months have seen heightened attention on his contract negotiations and possible exit.

In August, British tabloid The Sun reported that Stern’s show might end due to difficulties reaching a new contract with SiriusXM. The Stern Show’s X account amplified the rumors with a video teasing multiple possibilities: “Fired? Retiring? Canceled? Bye-Bye Booey? Howard Stern will speak.” The announcement was initially slated for Sept. 2, but on Tuesday morning, the show’s X account updated fans, saying Stern will now reveal his plans on Sept. 8. Stern’s social media team has continued to fuel speculation with posts and memes hinting at the uncertainty of his return. While the specifics of the announcement remain unclear, some industry insiders have speculated that the host could be stepping away from the airwaves. SiriusXM and Stern have not made any recent comments regarding his contract.
