 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. “I don’t see not being married as a negative” - Actress Bimbo Akintola says


 Veteran Nollywood actress Bimbo Akintola has revealed that despite being proposed to many times, she has turned them all down because she hasn’t found the right partner.


Speaking in a recent sit-down, the 52-year-old star said: “For me not to have found my partner, the person I want to spend the rest of my life with, I don’t see it as a negative. I’ve been proposed to many times, and I’ve said no.”


She also spoke about the pressure women face when it comes to marriage, warning against rushing in for the wrong reasons. “Did you just marry because people say marry? Look at divorce ratings now in Nigeria, it’s skyrocketing. Some people are married before they leave the reception if the marriage has broken up.”


Akintola went further to stress that both sons and daughters should be raised with equal responsibility. “Teach your sons that their body is the temple of God the same way you teach your daughters. As soon as you impregnate a girl, no more school for you, my dear. Go and work and raise your child.”


She also touched on online bullying, advising women not to focus on “rich men” but on men who are hardworking and ready to grow with them.
