 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  I want peace – Patience Jonathan rejects return to Presidential Villa


Former First Lady, Patience Jonathan, has dismissed suggestions of a return to the Presidential Villa.

Mrs Jonathan said she cannot return to the seat of power because of the distress facing Nigeria.

The Guardian quoted the former First Lady as saying that she needs peace, and therefore cannot return to the Villa.

She said: “The distress of Nigeria is so much that if God manages to bring you out of it, you should glorify Him.

“Why do you want to go back there? I need peace. My peace is enough.”

Her remarks come as pressure mounts on former President Goodluck Jonathan to contest the 2027 presidential election.

Meanwhile, presidential aide Bayo Onanuga recently cautioned Jonathan against listening to those urging him to run, recalling his 2015 election defeat.

Speculation is rife that Jonathan may contest under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in 2027.

Amidst these speculations, the former president has yet to declare whether he will run or not.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
