 IGP DECLARES OPEN 2025 NIGERIA POLICE PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICERS’ CONFERENCE …Tasks PPROs on strategic communication, combating misinformation The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, on Monday, December 8, 2025, declared open the 2025 Annual Conference of Police Public Relations Officers (PPROs) of the Nigeria Police Force, held at the Police Resource Centre, Abuja. In his keynote address, the IGP described the annual conference as “a strategic national engagement and a critical platform for strengthening police-public communication, shaping national narratives constructively, and deepening trust between the Police and citizens.” He emphasised that modern-day policing is increasingly defined by public trust, transparency, and the quality of communication between law enforcement agencies and the public, noting that the Public Relations Officers remain central to institutional credibility.  Ibadan very strategic, central to development of Nigeria – Peter Obi


The Presidential candidate of Labour Party, LP, during the 2023 general elections, Mr Peter Obi, has declared that Ibadan is very strategic and central to the development of Nigeria.


Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, made this declaration when he paid a visit to the Olubadan-designate, Oba Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja.


Our correspondent reports that Obi and some of his associates visited Ladoja at his Bodija residence in Ibadan on Sunday.


Obi was accompanied by the gubernatorial candidate of Labour Party in Lagos State in 2023, Mr Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, and National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, Mr Yunusa Tanko, among others.


The delegation arrived Ladoja’s residence around 10:55 am.


Obi while speaking explained that he came to pay homage to the Olubadan-designate because Ibadan is very strategic and central to the political, social and economic development of Nigeria.


Obi noted that Ladoja will bring his wealth of experience as a former senator, governor and business tycoon to lead Ibadan to a enviable positions.


He said, “The visit is about Nigeria, selfless leadership, leadership that is committed in turning out society around.


“Because, Ibadan is very strategic and central to the development of Nigeria. As a former governor, senator, business tycoon, he will have all what he needs to succeed. And I will support him as Olubadan for the sake of one Nigeria.


“Most of the schools in Ibadan, University of Ibadan for example were attended by many people from different parts of Nigeria and they are making it in all areas of human endeavors.”

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
