 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  IMPLEMENTATION OF 2025 BUDGET CAPITAL COMPONENT TO COMMENCE


The National assembly joint committee on appropriations has reached an agreement with the national economic team on the immediate commencement of implementation of the capital component of the 2025 budget.


At a meeting Thursday afternoon which resolved into closed door, both sides also affirmed earlier commitment during a meeting between the House of Representatives appropriation committee and the economic team that the circular issued by the federal government on the award of contract be withdrawn.


Those in attendance at the meeting are the chairmen of the Senate and House committee on appropriation, Senator Adeola Olamilekan and Representative Abubakar Bichi.


Also in attendance are the minister of finance wale edun, minister of Budget,  Atiku Bagudu, Accountant General of the Federation, Shamseldin Ogunjimi and the Director General Budget Office Tanimu Yakubu among others.


Details on discussions will be communicated after the closed session.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
