 So Linus Williams (Blord) has been released from Kuje prison after fulfilling his bail conditions, finally, freedom after a few weeks in custody. However, here’s the current position of his case:  He is still expected to show up and stand his trial.  If he fails to appear in court even for one day, his bail can be revoked and a bench warrant may be issued against him, meaning a return to Kuje. If the prosecution cannot prove the charges against him, he will be discharged and acquitted. If the prosecution proves the charges, he may be sentenced and sent back to Kuje. I think he should seek a peaceful resolution to the case. Congrats to him on his freedom for now.

When Kim Jong Un arrived in Beijing on Tuesday for a major military parade, he was accompanied by an unexpected guest: his teenage daughter, Kim Ju Ae. The appearance marked her first known international outing and has sparked speculation among experts and analysts that she could be groomed as Kim’s successor in North Korea’s dynastic leadership.

Observers note that Kim Ju Ae has been increasingly visible at domestic events over the past year, from naval ship launches to water park openings, gradually being introduced to the public alongside her father. She was seen at the parade in a navy belted jacket with a matching hair ribbon, standing prominently behind Kim during the reception with Chinese officials. Analysts suggest that exposing her to such a high-profile diplomatic event signals both internal succession planning and an effort to cultivate her understanding of international protocol, while also demonstrating family continuity to North Korea’s allies. Her presence may further serve to strengthen ties with China amid tensions caused by North Korea’s growing military activities and closer engagement with Russia. Though North Korea has never had a female leader, Kim Ju Ae’s role in Beijing has been described as a carefully orchestrated “successor debut,” highlighting her potential future place at the head of the regime.
