 Prince Harry leaves African Parks board after charity admitted rangers committed human rights abuses Prince Harry has left the board of African Parks after nearly a decade with the conservation charity, a year after the organization acknowledged that some of its rangers had committed human rights abuses. A spokesperson for Harry, 41, confirmed his departure while emphasizing that his work in African conservation will continue. “The Duke is proud of his 10 years with African Parks and fully supports the ongoing strengthening of its Board,” the spokesperson said. “His commitment to conservation in Africa continues, and he remains a supporter of African Parks’ mission.” Harry first partnered with African Parks in 2016 and became president of the organization the following year.  LAGOS MOJ, CSC SECURE COMMUNITY SERVICE SENTENCE FOR OFFENDERS


In line with its reform agenda and commitment to decongesting correctional facilities across the State, the Lagos State Ministry of Justice, through its Restorative Justice Centre (RJC), in collaboration with the Non-Custodial/Community Service Centre, has secured a community service sentence for two bakery workers alleged to have stolen from their employer.


The workers were accused of stealing five loaves of bread, with their employer insisting they must be prosecuted in court. However, under the Ministry’s innovative sifting process at the Magistrate Courts, a District Prosecutor reviewed the matter and referred both parties to the Restorative Justice Centre instead of filing charges.


Following a successful mediation at the centre, the parties reached an agreement whereby the offenders would serve two weeks of community service, which commenced immediately


This resolution highlights the Ministry’s proactive approach to fostering dialogue, reconciliation, and accountability, while demonstrating the effectiveness of restorative justice in resolving minor offences.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
