 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results.  Lagos Teachers Set Guinness World Record 


Oluwaseyi Anifowose officially holds the world's record for organizing the Largest Gathering of Teachers in the World in Lagos.


Convener of the Let There Be Teachers Conference 2025, says the programme was born out of a deep conviction to create a global platform that to spotlight the real challenges facing the teaching profession. 


According to the event coordinator 90% of the teachers were from Lagos because they lacked funds to bring in teachers from outside the state as originally intended.


The historic initiative was not merely an attempt to break a record; it was a bold call to action — to celebrate teachers, amplify their voices, and compel stakeholders to commit to more meaningful reforms.


Oluwaseyi Anifowose has years of experience in teacher's training and capacity development.

GWR has not posted the feat on its social media platforms, Anifowose's confirmation was done via a virtual presentation.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
