 FG MOVES TO CUT EDUCATION COSTS, PROMOTE SUSTAINABILITY WITH REUSABLE TEXTBOOK POLICY The Federal Government of Nigeria has unveiled a comprehensive policy framework aimed at reducing the cost of education for parents, improving learning outcomes, and promoting sustainability in schools through the adoption of reusable, high-quality textbooks and strengthened quality assurance mechanisms. The policy, jointly issued by the Honourable Minister of Education  Dr Maruf Tunji Alausa and the Honourable Minister of State for Education Prof Suiwaba Sai'd, forms part of ongoing reforms to reposition Nigeria’s education sector and ease the financial burden on families.  Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger: Steering Toward ICC Exit and a Homegrown Sahelian Justice System


The idea surfaced at the Niamey summit of justice ministers from Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger, a French media outlet reported, citing sources, Sputnik reported.


"[The ICC is] a tool of repression against African countries, serving those who uphold the imperialist order to crush any aspiration for emancipation," it quoted Niger's interim PM as saying.


A Malian source confirmed that withdrawal documents are finalized, with an official announcement expected shortly.


According to media reports, the three nations are developing a Sahelian Criminal Court for Human Rights, mandated to prosecute:


▪ International crimes — genocide, war crimes;


▪Organized crime and terrorism, key threats across the Sahel;


▪The initiative includes plans for a high-security prison.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
