 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. Paris Hilton mini beauty fridges recalled over fire hazards

About 110,000 Paris Hilton-branded mini beauty fridges are being recalled after reports that some units overheated and caught fire, federal safety officials said.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission warned that the fridges’ electrical switches can short-circuit, creating fire and burn hazards. Officials have received 27 reports of the mini fridges overheating or igniting, though no injuries have been reported. Damage included harm to the units and nearby surfaces.

The recall affects 4-liter and 10-liter Paris Hilton Mini Beauty Fridges sold in pink, white, aqua, and hot pink. Only units manufactured before August 2024 with specific serial numbers are included; units outside the affected serial range should not be discarded.

The fridges were sold at Walmart and Ross stores, as well as online at Walmart.com, Amazon.com, and other e-commerce sites from November 2022 through July 2025. Prices ranged from about $30 for the 4-liter models to $60 for the 10-liter versions.

Paris Hilton branding appears on the fridge doors, usually in the lower right corner or sometimes at the top center. Model and serial numbers are on the back of 4-liter units and the bottom of 10-liter models.

Consumers should immediately stop using and unplug affected fridges. To obtain a refund, owners must register at www.epoca.com/minifridgerecall and submit three photos: the fridge door with “RECALL” marked in permanent ink, the label showing model and serial numbers, and the unplugged cord. Recalled units should be discarded according to local regulations.
