 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. Peter Obi Disowns AI-Generated Images Used in Unauthorized Advertisements


On Saturday, September 27, 2025, Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, issued a fresh warning against the unauthorized use of his AI-generated images for product advertisements and endorsements.


In a statement posted on his verified X handle, the former Anambra State governor expressed concern over the blatant misuse of his likeness by unscrupulous individuals to promote products and business schemes without his consent. Obi cautioned the public to be vigilant and disregard any advertisements linking him to such ventures, warning that these efforts are designed to defraud unsuspecting Nigerians.


“I am aware that many individuals and organizations use AI-generated images of me to advertise various products online. This unauthorized use of my image has gone on blatantly lately,” Obi stated. “Despite numerous rebuttals issued by my team, these practices have persisted.”


He clarified that while he supports genuine endeavors contributing positively to Nigeria, he does not endorse any ventures without his authorization. “I wish to state categorically that I am not associated with any of these advertisements,” he emphasized.


Obi reiterated his commitment to transparency, integrity, and initiatives that advance the common good, urging the public to remain cautious and verify the authenticity of any claims involving his name or image.
