 Chris Brown Avoids Jail After London Nightclub Attack, Gets 8-Month Suspended Sentence Chris Brown will not be going to prison for now after a London court sentenced him over a nightclub attack that left music producer Abraham Diaw injured. The American singer, 37, was sentenced at Southwark Crown Court on Monday, October 26, receiving eight months in prison, suspended for 12 months. His co-defendant, rapper HoodyBaby, whose real name is Omololu Akinlolu, 40, received a four-month suspended sentence, also for 12 months. Both were ordered to pay £1,500 in costs. The case dates back to February 19, 2023 at Tape nightclub in Mayfair, London, where Brown admitted attacking Diaw with a tequila bottle. CCTV footage showed the producer being struck twice on the head, hit on the shoulder, chased, pushed to the floor and kicked while down. PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES DIRECTOR-GENERAL OF ICRC JOBSON OSEODION EWALEFOH ON 50TH BIRTHDAY


President Bola Tinubu extends heartfelt felicitations to Dr Jobson Oseodion Ewalefoh, the Director-General of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC), on his 50th birthday, September 10, 2025.


The President commends Dr Ewalefoh's commitment to advancing Nigeria's infrastructure development through Public-Private Partnerships (PPP).


President Tinubu notes that under Dr Ewalefoh's stewardship, the commission has strengthened regulatory oversight, deepened transparency in project delivery, and aligned its work with the Renewed Hope Agenda through bold and sustainable reforms.


The President recalls the PPP Summit convened by the ICRC in June 2025, which he had the honour of declaring open. The Summit united government, investors, and development partners around a clear framework that has restored confidence and provided fresh momentum for PPP-driven growth.


President Tinubu wishes the Director-General renewed strength, wisdom, and greater success in serving the nation and encourages him to sustain his efforts to deliver world-class infrastructure that meets the aspirations of all Nigerians.
