 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. Protester arrested for trampling Charlie Kirk's memorial


A protester was arrested Sunday after trampling the memorial for Charlie Kirk outside the Turning Point USA office in Phoenix.

Video of the incident showed a man stepping on flowers and other tributes laid out for the recently killed conservative commentator. Bystanders intervened, with one person in a blue shirt throwing the protester to the ground before security and a police officer arrived. The man was then handcuffed by officers.

The Phoenix Police Department identified the protester as 19-year-old Ryder Corral, who faces multiple charges, including criminal damage and disorderly conduct.

Kirk, a conservative commentator and co-founder of Turning Point USA, was shot and killed last week during a Q&A at Utah Valley University. Tyler Robinson, 22, has been arrested and charged with aggravated murder in connection with the shooting.

In the days following Kirk’s death, reactions have been sharply divided, with many paying tribute while others have expressed criticism or disrespect.
