Fulani Man Arrested For Allegedly Stabbing Elder Brother To Death In Kaduna A 20-year-old Fulani man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his elder brother to death following a domestic dispute in Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State. According to intelligence sources, the incident occurred at about 8:00 a.m. on August 2 in Ungwan Hausawa Village, Gidan Waya District. Troops of Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP), Sector 7, reportedly responded to a distress call after receiving information that a man had been stabbed by his younger brother. Upon arrival, they found the victim critically injured and immediately evacuated him to the General Hospital in Kafanchan. The victim was later confirmed dead by medical personnel. The suspect, identified as Abubakar Usman, 20, was arrested at the scene and is currently in custody as investigations continue. Thanksgiving Service Commences.


Activities to Mark the end of Emergency rule in Rivers State, has commenced with a thanksgiving service held at the Ecumenical center, Abonima Warf, Port Harcourt.


In attendance were the Rivers State Administrator, top government officials, traditional rulers, heads of state security and para military agencies among other dignitaries.


The service marked the commencement of part  of transition activities for proper hand over and return of the suspended Governor and members of the legislature, whose period of six months suspension ends September 18th, 2025.
