 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. ROAD ACCIDENT ON BENIN-SAGAMU EXPRESSWAY. (PHOTO).

 Road Accident on Benin-Sagamu Expressway



A road accident occurred on Sunday afternoon on the Benin-Sagamu expressway on the RCC area of Akinbande when two passenger vehicles skidded off the road into a nearby bush.


The drivers of the two buses attributed the accident to a blown rear tyre on the red Sienna bus that led the driver losing control of the vehicle, while  the MPV Mazda bus was attempting to overtake.


Fortunately, other road users quickly rushed to the scene, rendering assistance and rescuing all passengers and drivers. Despite the severity of the accident, there were no reported fatalities.


However, some passengers sustained injuries and were rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
