Worried by the incessant clashes between Herders and farmers in the south west zone leading to loss of lives and property, the cattle breeders Association in support of the council of Fulani Chiefs of South West Nigeria took some bold steps at addressing the problems head on.
The group during a press briefing in
Lagos Sunday expressed disaffection over incessant criminal acts such as banditory, kidnappings,including farmland destruction as well as any form of farmer -herder conflicts that could be linked to the Fulani community as they also called on the security agencies to fish out the criminal elements and their conspirators within the host communities.
