 Nigeria's Defence Minister Summons Service Chiefs Amid Surge in Attacks on Military Bases Nigeria's Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (Rtd), has urgently summoned the nation's top military leaders to a high-level meeting at the Ministry of Defence headquarters in Abuja. The session addresses the escalating attacks targeting military installations, particularly in the North East region. The meeting includes key figures such as: - Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede - Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Waidi Shaibu - Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke - Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abass - Representatives from the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) The summons comes in response to recent deadly assaults by terrorists on military bases in the North East.  South West Security: Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders  Ban Night Grazing, fire Arms possession by Herders



Worried by the  incessant clashes between Herders and farmers in the south west zone leading to loss of lives and property, the cattle breeders Association in support of the council of Fulani Chiefs of South West Nigeria took some bold steps at addressing the problems head on.


The group  during a press briefing in 

Lagos Sunday expressed disaffection over  incessant criminal acts such as banditory, kidnappings,including farmland destruction as well as any form of farmer -herder conflicts that could be linked to the Fulani community as they also called on the security agencies to fish out the criminal elements and their conspirators within the host communities.
