The event also featured the investiture of Patrons and Advisers.

In his address, the newly elected Speaker, Rt. Hon. Hassan noted that young people make up more than two-thirds of Kaduna’s population and warned that failure to invest in them could result in a “demographic disaster.”

The summit, themed “Strengthening Civil-Military Cooperation for Peace,” emphasized the need for greater trust and collaboration between youth and security agencies.

YAN Kaduna announced partnerships with key institutions including the EFCC, DSS, Nigeria Police, Nigeria Immigration Service, Franco-British International University, Civil Impact for Sustainability Development Foundation, Eagle’s Brain, Kaduna State Media Corporation, and NTA Kaduna.

The collaborations will focus on anti-corruption education, digital training, and youth mentorship.

The Speaker praised Governor Uba Sani for reviving the Ministry of Youth Development and called on government, the private sector, and development partners to give priority to youth engagement.

“Let us turn Kaduna into a hub of youth leadership in the North-West. Now. Not later,” he told participants.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Governor Uba Sani, represented by the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Barr. Sule Shuabu (SAN); the Commissioner for Youth Development, Hon. Daniel Amos; and Hon. Bama Maidawa Bako, Senior Legislative Aide to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, representing Hon.
