This is such a heartbreaking story and a testament to true love until the very end.
The accident, which ultimately claimed the lives of 3 people, occurred Monday October, 20th on Burnt Store Road in Cape Coral, Florida.
Bryan Greenwell, who lives nearby, rushed to the scene of the accident after hearing what sounded like a vehicle crashing into a house.
As he approached the scene, Greenwell found that 2 vehicles were involved.
However, what he found inside of one vehicle will forever be etched into his memory.
Greenwell approached one vehicle that was nearly on its side. He described the scene, saying the windshield and roof were smashed and the airbags had been deployed.
When Greenwell looked in the vehicle, he saw a man and woman inside. In a heartbreaking twist, Greenwell said the woman seemed to be reaching for her husband in her final seconds. The two were also holding hands in an eternal embrace .
Cape Coral PD has identified the deceased couple as Norma Jean Ralston and Gary Galiher.
Sadly, a third victim also lost her life as a result of this accident. 48-year-old Laura Beasley, a wife, mother, and grandmother of 3 children.
Our hearts go out to the family and friends of all the victims of this fatal accident.
