 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. A GEORGIA WOMAN WHO RAN AN UNLICENSED DAYCARE IS FACING FELONY CHARGES AFTER A 2-YEAR-OLD IN HER CARE, WAS FATALLY ATTACKED BY HER DOGS.(PHOTO).

 A Georgia woman who ran an unlicensed daycare is facing felony charges after a 2-year-old in her care, was fatally attacked by her dogs.


This shocking and heartbreaking incident occurred on October 4th in Valdosta, Georgia. 


According to official police reports, 2-year-old Kaimir Jones was left unattended for over 2 hours while the daycare owner, 48-year-old Stacey Wheeler Cobb, slept.


While Stacey slept, Kaimir left the residence and wondered into the backyard. Kaimir then managed to open a kennel where two large Rottweiler dogs were being kept. Investigators are still trying to determine how the young boy managed to open the kennel.


Once the kennel was open, the two Rottweilers attacked Kaimir, taking his young life. 


When Stacey was questioned, she told authorities she "was napping and thought that Kaimir was also asleep".


Stacey Wheeler Cobb was arrested and is being charged with second-degree homicide and second-degree cruelty to children.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
