 So Linus Williams (Blord) has been released from Kuje prison after fulfilling his bail conditions, finally, freedom after a few weeks in custody. However, here’s the current position of his case:  He is still expected to show up and stand his trial.  If he fails to appear in court even for one day, his bail can be revoked and a bench warrant may be issued against him, meaning a return to Kuje. If the prosecution cannot prove the charges against him, he will be discharged and acquitted. If the prosecution proves the charges, he may be sentenced and sent back to Kuje. I think he should seek a peaceful resolution to the case. Congrats to him on his freedom for now.

Abia State Police Command Commences Enforcement of Tinted Glass Permits


1. In line with existing Federal laws and directives, and following extensive public enlightenment through various media platforms, and extensions of enforcement period to allow members of the public ample time to obtain their tinted glass permits.


2. The Abia State Police Command wishes to inform the public that the enforcement of tinted glass permits will commence on Thursday, 2nd October 2025.


3. Since the online registration process is currently ongoing, members of the public who are yet to obtain their permits are advised to:

Visit the Nigeria Police Specialized Services Automation Project (POSSAP) via the official website: www.possap.gov.ng.


Visit the State Intelligence Department (SID) of the Command for capturing.

4. The Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa, in his briefing, directed officers to remain professional, respect the rights of members of the public, and desist from exploiting the exercise for extortion. 


5. ⁠He further noted that the Command’s monitoring team will be on ground to ensure officers maintain the highest standards of professionalism during the enforcement As Members of the public are advised to report cases of unprofessional conduct to the Complaint Response Unit, Abia State Police Command through 09031593727 or 09035401645
