 ‘Friend Of A Thief Is A Thief’, Defence Minister Warns Terrorist Sponsors The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (rtd), has cautioned Nigerians against aiding terrorists, insurgents, bandits, or other criminal elements, stressing that anyone who supports criminal activities will face the full weight of the law. General Musa made the warning on Saturday while speaking as the Special Guest of Honour at the Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day 2026 Golf Tournament held at the TYB Golf Resort and Country Club, Yar’Adua Barracks, Abuja. Abia State Police Command Commences Enforcement of Tinted Glass Permits


1. In line with existing Federal laws and directives, and following extensive public enlightenment through various media platforms, and extensions of enforcement period to allow members of the public ample time to obtain their tinted glass permits.


2. The Abia State Police Command wishes to inform the public that the enforcement of tinted glass permits will commence on Thursday, 2nd October 2025.


3. Since the online registration process is currently ongoing, members of the public who are yet to obtain their permits are advised to:

Visit the Nigeria Police Specialized Services Automation Project (POSSAP) via the official website: www.possap.gov.ng.


Visit the State Intelligence Department (SID) of the Command for capturing.

4. The Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa, in his briefing, directed officers to remain professional, respect the rights of members of the public, and desist from exploiting the exercise for extortion. 


5. ⁠He further noted that the Command’s monitoring team will be on ground to ensure officers maintain the highest standards of professionalism during the enforcement As Members of the public are advised to report cases of unprofessional conduct to the Complaint Response Unit, Abia State Police Command through 09031593727 or 09035401645
