 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity.  Ahmadu Bello Stadium Undergoes First Major Renovation Since 1965


Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has reaffirmed his commitment to upgrading the Ahmadu Bello Stadium into a world-class sporting facility that meets FIFA standards.


He made the pledge while inspecting the ongoing reconstruction and remodeling of the iconic stadium, which was originally built in 1965 and is now receiving its first major facelift in over 60 years.


Governor Sani assured that the project, expected to be completed within 10 months, will restore the stadium’s relevance and enhance sports tourism in the state.


In addition to the stadium, the Governor also inspected the Keke–Danbushiya asphalt road project in Millennium City. He emphasized that the road will open up new economic opportunities, improve accessibility, and ease traffic congestion in one of Kaduna’s fastest-growing areas.


“These projects reflect our administration’s determination to make Kaduna a hub for sports, healthcare, and infrastructure development,” Sani stated.


According to government officials, the steady progress of these initiatives means residents will soon begin to experience the tangible benefits of the administration’s investments and development agenda in their daily lives.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
