 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. AN INDIANA MOTHER WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY AFTER HER CHILD WAS FOUND WANDERING THE STREETS IN A VERY FULL DIAPER WITH A CIGARETTE BURN ON THE CHILD'S FOREHEAD.(PHOTO).

 An Indiana mother was taken into custody after her child was found wandering the streets in a very full diaper with a cigarette burn on the child's forehead.


Officers in Evansville, Indiana, received a call at 9:50 p.m. on October 14th. The caller described seeing a young child walking alone in the middle of the road.


Officers arrived on the scene to discover the young child dressed only in pants. According to reports, the child's diaper was so full that urine had soaked through the pants and was dripping onto the child's feet. There also appeared to be a cigarette burn in the middle of the child's forehead. 


Officers were eventually able to determine the child's mother is 25-year-old Diasha Dixon. After locating Dixon, she became resistant to questioning and refused to speak to officers. When police questioned Dixon on the whereabouts of her 3 other children, she refused to cooperate.  


Dixon's children were ultimately located by authorities, and all 4 children are in DFS custody.  Dixon reportedly told DFS workers the mark on her child's forehead was an insect bite and not a cigarette burn.


Evansville PD arrested Diasha Dixon on charges of neglect of a dependant and obstruction of justice. 


Diasha Dixon was booked into Vanderburgh County Jail.
