 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  AVM SUNDAY ANEKE TAKES OVER AS 23RD CHIEF OF THE AIR STAFF


The Nigerian Air Force  witnessed a landmark transition of leadership as Air Vice Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke officially assumed duty as the 23rd Chief of the Air Staff (CAS).


The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Aneke describes his appointment as a tremendous privilege and a solemn duty, pledging to lead with humility, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to national security. 


He reaffirms the unflinching loyalty of the Nigerian Air Force to the President, the Constitution, and the Nigerian people, assuring that under his leadership, the NAF would remain Willing, Able, and Ready to safeguard the nation’s airspace, strengthen inter-service synergy, and deliver the security architecture vital to Nigeria’s peace, progress, and transformation.


With the formal handover complete, the Nigerian Air Force ushers in a new era under the leadership of Air Vice Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, one defined by continuity, innovation, and renewed purpose.
