“No electricity, no vote,” South Africans threaten to shun ruling party ANC Residents in Katlehong, a township outside Johannesburg, have resolved to boycott South Africa's upcoming local elections on November 4 due to long-standing failures by authorities to provide basic services like electricity. For over 20 years, around 180 households in the community have relied on illegal electrical connections pulled from neighboring areas to power their homes.  Barbie unveils second Stevie Nicks doll inspired by Bella Donna

Mattel is releasing a second Barbie doll modeled after Stevie Nicks, this time celebrating her solo career. The doll wears Nick’s signature flowing white dress from the 1981 album cover, paired with a black top hat and a microphone in hand. Nicks said she feels honored to collaborate with Barbie again, calling the doll a symbol of her musical journey and the courage it took to forge her solo career. She added that she hopes the doll inspires fans and young dreamers to pursue their potential. The first Stevie Nicks Barbie, inspired by her 1977 Fleetwood Mac Rumours look, sold out within 24 hours of release. Mattel noted that the initial collaboration made the doll one of its most beloved musician editions.
