The credibility of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) voters’ register has come under intense scrutiny ahead of the 2027 general elections, following revelations by INEC Chairman Professor Joash Amupitan that names of deceased persons remain on the register. Amupitan disclosed that names of voters who died as far back as 15 years ago are still listed, a situation critics say could undermine the integrity of the 2027 polls and lead to significant financial waste through the printing of excess ballot papers and other election logistics.  BORN WITHOUT HANDS OR FEET, YET HE FLIES: THE INSPIRING STORY OF 25-YEAR-OLD PILOT, ZACH ANGLIN

5th October, 2025

In a remarkable display of courage, resilience, and faith, 25-year-old Zach Anglin, a Nigerian-born aviator raised in the United States, has achieved what many once thought impossible — becoming a certified commercial pilot despite being born without hands or feet.

Zach’s journey to the skies was far from easy. After facing five rejections from aviation programs, he persevered, determined to prove that physical limitations could not define his destiny. Through intense FAA training, unwavering discipline, and a belief that “you can’t be held by your limitations,” he finally earned his wings — making aviation history in the process.

Today, Zach not only flies commercial aircraft but also serves as a flight instructor, mentoring aspiring pilots and inspiring individuals with disabilities to pursue their passions without fear.

His story has become a powerful symbol of possibility — showing that with faith, perseverance, and purpose, even the greatest challenges can become stepping stones to greatness.

Zach Anglin’s achievement is more than personal triumph; it’s a message to the world that the sky is never the limit — it’s just the beginning.
