 ANAMBRA SECURITY: CP NNANNA URGES PRESIDENTS-GENERAL OF COMMUNITIES TO PRIORITISE SECURITY, STEP UP SUPPORT FOR FIGHT AGAINST CRIMINALITY The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Nnanna Oji Ama, psc, mnips, has called on Presidents-General of communities across the State to place the security and wellbeing of their respective communities at the forefront of their leadership responsibilities. The Commissioner made the call on 4th September 2026 while receiving the Association of Presidents-General of Communities in the State. He noted that the Presidents-General occupy strategic positions in their respective communities and therefore have a crucial role to play in supporting the Police and other security agencies in the fight against criminality.  Court Orders Final Forfeiture of $20,000, CFA 110,000 To FG In Lagos


Justice Dehinde Dipeolu of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, on October 15, 2025, ordered the final forfeiture of the sums of $20,000 and CFA 110,000 to the Federal Government of Nigeria. The monies  were intercepted by operatives of the Nigerian Customs Service, NCS, at Seme Border in the Badagry Local Government Area of Lagos State and handed over to Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, for further investigation. The Judge gave the order following a motion on notice filed by the Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 of the EFCC through its lawyer, H.U. Kofarnaisa.
