Authorities have ruled the third death on Walt Disney World property in 10 days a suicide. The individual, 28-year-old Matthew Cohn, died after jumping from a height at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Florida, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office.
This marks the second suicide at the Contemporary Resort in just over a week. Earlier, a 31-year-old woman also took her own life at the same hotel on October 14. A third death occurred on October 21 at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, where a man in his 60s died after a medical episode. The recent incidents follow a separate case at Disneyland in California on October 8, when a woman in her 60s was found unresponsive on the Haunted Mansion ride and later pronounced dead at a hospital. Disney has not commented on the recent deaths.
