 ‘Empty barrels’ – Otti dismisses Uzor Kalu, Orji, Ikpeazu opposition gang-up Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has urged Abians to disregard recent remarks by some leaders of the opposition in the state. Governor Otti who was speaking on Saturday at Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Umuoriehi, Umuahia North LGA, during the dedication of the church building, said that those who are gathering against him were the same people that failed to develop the state in the past. Otti was reacting to an alliance formed against his re-election by former Abia governors Orji Uzor Kalu, Theodore Orji and Okezie Ikpeazu. The governor slammed the opposition members for pursuing personal interest above the collective development of Abia, declaring that every gathering they are making against him would collapse.  Eminem’s daughter Alaina Scott is expecting first child

Eminem is set to become a grandfather again as his eldest daughter, Alaina Scott, 32, announced she is expecting her first child with husband Matt Moeller.

Alaina shared the news on social media Sunday, writing about the joy and gratitude she feels for the growing life inside her. “For months, I've carried a tiny heartbeat inside me, one that has already changed mine in every possible way… I've never felt more grateful for this gift and to grow our family, something we've wanted for so long,” she said. She also added, “Baby M, we can't wait to meet you, little one.” The couple, who married in 2023, posted a photo holding a baby onesie in a field alongside the announcement.

Alaina was adopted by Eminem as a child and is the daughter of Dawn Scott, the twin sister of the rapper’s ex, Kim Scott. Eminem has been a father figure to her since birth. This will be his second grandchild; his daughter Hailie Jade Scott, 29, welcomed a son, Elliot Marshall McClintock, in March.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
