 Texas woman charged with medical child abuse for falsifying toddler’s health and pushing unnecessary feeding tube surgeries A Texas woman has been charged with medical child abuse after allegedly falsifying her toddler’s medical history to pressure doctors into performing unnecessary procedures, including feeding tube surgeries, in what authorities are calling a “sickening” case. Kaitlyn Rose Laura, 31, faces charges of injury to a child and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Officials said she deliberately misled medical staff about her 3-year-old son’s health to obtain a gastrostomy tube and later a gastrojejunostomy tube, despite no documented medical need. Investigators allege that hospital staff observed the boy eating normally while Laura claimed he refused all food. Covert surveillance confirmed the child was able to eat meals without difficulty, prompting authorities to stop tube feedings.  Hamas: ‘He looks sad, exhausted’ – Sheikh Gumi mocks Israeli PM Netanyahu


Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, on Friday, mocked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, describing him as looking “sad and exhausted”.

Gumi made the remark in a post on his Facebook page, where he wrote: “Netanyahu looks sad and exhausted! I hope Facebook is not offended.”

His comment followed reports that the Israeli government had approved the first phase of the US-brokered ceasefire plan proposed by President Donald Trump.

Under the plan, captives are expected to be exchanged, while Israel will withdraw from parts of Gaza.

Prime Minister Netanyahu had earlier thanked Trump and US officials for their role in facilitating the ceasefire negotiations aimed at ending the war in Gaza.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
