 PRESS RELEASE OPERATION HADIN KAI FOILS MASS ABDUCTION ATTEMPT AT FGGC MONGUNO Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), in collaboration with personnel of the Nigeria Police Mobile Force (MOPOL), successfully foiled an attempted mass abduction by ISWAP terrorists at the Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Monguno, at about 0130 hours (1:30 a.m.) on 19 July 2026. The FGGC facility is currently being utilized by the Borno State Government as temporary hostel accommodation for students of the Federal Polytechnic, Monguno. The terrorists reportedly gained access to the facility with the assistance of suspected collaborators in an attempt to abduct students. Alert security personnel immediately engaged the terrorists with coordinated and overwhelming firepower, effectively stalling their advance with Sector 3 Quick Reaction Force (QRF) immediately reinforcing the school.  "How can you compare a man standing on one leg to a man standing on four legs?" ~Ned Nwoko 


Senator Ned Nwoko has today in an interview with Channels TV, defended polygamy, affirming that having multiple wives brings balance and stability to a man’s life.


He sympathized with every man who has married just one wife. 

"All men should do that (practice polygamy). For instance, just imagine standing on one leg, you know how difficult it is, but to stand on 2, 3 or 4 is more balanced. So, I feel sorry for those who have one wife because it’s difficult to stand on one leg", he said.


This statement has since stirred up reactions across the media today amid the ongoing tension in his household, following the last wife Regina Daniels' earlier outburst and the recent acquisition of a new mansion.


Ned Nwoko also denied allegations of domestic vi0lence involving Regina, describing them as baseless.


He maintained that he has no regrets about his marital decisions and emphasised on how he loves and respects his wives and children equally.
