 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event.  "How can you compare a man standing on one leg to a man standing on four legs?" ~Ned Nwoko 


Senator Ned Nwoko has today in an interview with Channels TV, defended polygamy, affirming that having multiple wives brings balance and stability to a man’s life.


He sympathized with every man who has married just one wife. 

"All men should do that (practice polygamy). For instance, just imagine standing on one leg, you know how difficult it is, but to stand on 2, 3 or 4 is more balanced. So, I feel sorry for those who have one wife because it’s difficult to stand on one leg", he said.


This statement has since stirred up reactions across the media today amid the ongoing tension in his household, following the last wife Regina Daniels' earlier outburst and the recent acquisition of a new mansion.


Ned Nwoko also denied allegations of domestic vi0lence involving Regina, describing them as baseless.


He maintained that he has no regrets about his marital decisions and emphasised on how he loves and respects his wives and children equally.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
