 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. Speaking on Gbam interview Engr Felix noted that tradition has come to stay and People should be able to differentiate between tradition and evil. He asserted that tradition is good because that's  the ways our forefathers followed and lived Long.

  

Engr Igwebuike maintained that the main problem people are having in Igbo land now is neglecting so much tradition, even as you are going to church do not disregard your tradition.


Speaking further, Engr Felix said that any site he is working on, he must kill a goat, and the reason is because it's in the tradition to do so, by so doing your "ancestors will guide whatever you are doing in that site and even provide more so that the work will be moving."


Engr Felix also defended the governor of Anambra state saying that he knows what he is doing, that the governor's actions are to fish out the "bad native doctors" who prioritize deceiving the youths and fuelling illegality.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
