 Egyptian family of six rearrested after ICE release, lawyer warns of fast-track deportation despite court-ordered pause and ongoing asylum case An Egyptian family of six who had recently been released from immigration custody was rearrested Saturday, with their attorney warning they could face rapid deportation despite a court order temporarily pausing their removal. The family—Hayam El Gamal and her five children—had spent roughly ten months in the Dilley detention center outside San Antonio, Texas, where conditions have drawn criticism over access to food and medical care. A federal magistrate judge had ruled earlier this week that the family should be released while their asylum case proceeds after they entered the United States in 2022 on a tourist visa. Following Saturday’s rearrest, their attorney said they were placed on a flight to Michigan and could then be transferred for deportation to Egypt. Speaking on Gbam interview Engr Felix noted that tradition has come to stay and People should be able to differentiate between tradition and evil. He asserted that tradition is good because that's  the ways our forefathers followed and lived Long.

  

Engr Igwebuike maintained that the main problem people are having in Igbo land now is neglecting so much tradition, even as you are going to church do not disregard your tradition.


Speaking further, Engr Felix said that any site he is working on, he must kill a goat, and the reason is because it's in the tradition to do so, by so doing your "ancestors will guide whatever you are doing in that site and even provide more so that the work will be moving."


Engr Felix also defended the governor of Anambra state saying that he knows what he is doing, that the governor's actions are to fish out the "bad native doctors" who prioritize deceiving the youths and fuelling illegality.
